Race Information

The Pinnacle event of the 2008 Felt Tour de Park City will be the USCF sanctioned road race. The race features a 170 mile course open to all USCF member category riders. A one day USCF membership is needed for non USCF member cyclists in order to participate in the race. The full year membership can be purchased via www.usacycling.org. Full memberships and day memberships can be purchased at the packet pickup locations on Friday August 1 or day of the event at the registration booth. The cost of a one day membership is $10.00.

Even though the race distance is 170 miles please note that once you reach the 125 mile point it’s pretty well 40 miles of all downhill riding, descending from 10,786 ft. to 6,376 ft. with the exception of a couple hills leaving Kamas and around Jordanelle Reservoir. If you can ride a century race the Tour de Park City race won’t be that much harder. The big descent will give your legs a good rest for the sprint to the finish. The race course features great flats, false flats, rolling hills, fast down hills, and one major climb.

The Felt Tour de Park City USCF sanctioned race is the governed by the rules set forth by USA Cycling. As a race participant it is your responsibility to know the USCF road racing rules. Full USCF rules available for download.
